Amherst (WBEN) -- More than 100 people braved the rain in Amherst on Saturday morning in a walk to honor the memory of accident victim Alexandria "Alix" Rice.
The teenager was hit and killed in an accident on Heim Road a year ago Sunday.
It became the subject of a high profile trial, in which a jury acquitted the car's driver, Dr. James Corasanti, of all felony counts in that high-profile case.
Rice was hit and killed as she was riding her longboard home from her job that night in 2011.
