The Niagara County Sheriff's office reports a teen has drowned in Lake Ontario while swimming with friends at the Wilson Pier Sunday.
Police say Dennis Ash, 16 of Wilson was swimming and suddenly went under. He was located after being under the surface for about 20 minutes.
He was transported to Eastern Niagara Hospital in Newfane, where he was pronounced dead.
