2 Buffalo Teens Charged in Fatal Stabbing, Burning

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN/AP) - Two Buffalo teens are being held without bail in the fatal stabbing and burning of another teen.

16 year old Ezeiekile Nafi of East Amherst Street and 17 year old Demetrius Huff of Jewett Parkway appeared in Buffalo City Court Wednesday on charges of second-degree murder. Both were ordered held pending a felony hearing next week.

The pair is accused of stabbing 16-year-old Darren Brown of Buffalo more than 10 times and then setting his body on fire. Brown's body was found Friday by a man walking his dog along a footpath near some former railroad property in the city.

Police describe the suspects and victim as acquaintances but won't say what they think led to the killing.

The teens were arrested Tuesday and are being charged as adults. They could face 25 to life in prison if convicted.
