Police make drug arrests in Jamestown

Jamestown (WBEN) -- Two men are under arrest -- accused of selling heroine from their home in Jamestown.

Police say the suspects -- Angel Soto, 39, and Mark McKay, 20 -- are facing a charge of criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Investigators found cash and drug-making materials at the home -- which the city of Jamestown has now condemned because of several code violations.

On Friday, Jamestown Police and the state police K-9 unit executed a search warrant at 705 Lafayette St. following a two-month investigation revealed the occupants were using the home for the illegal sale of heroin.

The investigation, which also involved the State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET), found that both suspects were making the sales at all times of the day and night.

Both suspects have been arraigned and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail.  Police say more arrests are expected.

Police say anyone with information on the illegal sale of drugs can call the Jamestown Police Department's anonymous tip line at 483-8477 (tips), and police will keep all calls confidential.
