The popular eatery -- known for its barbeque menu and honky-tonk atmosphere -- has secured a lease at 301 Franklin Street with Statler City and developer Mark Croce.
It'll be located in the theatre district along Restaurant Row, Croce says.
Croce says he's been trying to get Dinosaur to come to Buffalo for a while, and now just seemed the right time for the Dinosaur management.
"They've grown. They've expanded quite a bit. They've opened four or five other stores, and Buffalo was on their radar. It took a couple years to identify the right site and negotiate the right lease because they're very particular about their needs and about having the right building that's in the right location. It just feels right for them," Croce says.
Its popularity in Buffalo has grown with its appearances at the Taste of Buffalo. The eatery already has locations in Syracuse, Rochester, Troy, Harlem, and Newark, N.J.
