Hartland, NY (WBEN) -- A large marijuana-growing operation was uncovered in a Wednesday morning raid in the Niagara County town of Hartland.
Members of the Niagara County Drug Task Force members and the Niagara County Emergency Response Team converged on 2322 Drum Road Wednesday morning around 8:00 a.m.
Paul F. Guzock, 55, is charged with the cultivation and possession of marijuana, as well as weapons possession. Several loaded guns were seized, as well as 341 pot plants.

Sheriff James R. Voutour announces the arrest of Paul F. Guzock, age 55 of 2322 Drum Road in the Town of Hartland. The arrest follows a joint investigation by the Niagara County Drug Task Force and Customs and Border Protection. A search warrant was issued by the Town of Hartland Court and was executed today [Wednesday 7/18] at about 8:00am at the Drum Rd location by Task Force members and the Niagara County Emergency Response Team. Task Force members located 341 Marihuana plants, 62 of which were located inside the residence. The Task Force also located several loaded firearms, including an AR15 rifle, a shotgun and a handgun. Guzock was charged with Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the 1st degree, a class C felony, Criminal Possession of a Firearm 4th, a class A misdemeanor and Unlawfully Growing Marihuana, a misdemeanor under the Public Health Law. Guzock was arraigned in Newfane Court where bail was set at $50,000. He was remanded to the Niagara County Jail pending his next court appearance.
