Wilson, NY (WBEN)- A 12 year old girl was killed and at least three others were taken to area hospitals, as a home was levelled by an explosion in the Niagara County Town of Wilson Tuesday morning.

Niagara County Undersheriff Michael Felicetti confirmed that the girl was found after several hours of searching at the scene. Three other family members were ejected from the Chestnut Road home around 6am Tuesday.

The cause has yet to be detirmined, with the investigation starting only after the girl was found amidst the rubble.
