All New Yorkers should remain alert and take whatever precautions are necessary as this severe weather hits our state."

Tent campers have been evacuated at the following campgrounds:

ALLEGANY REGION

TACONIC REGION

Campers will be offered a full refund, and may return to the campgrounds Friday if conditions warrant.

NY the "Nanny State"
Como should be worried about bringing life back to the state with some jobs for it's people and not try to play "Big Brother". The people of NY are smart enough to get in out of the rain without the help from "Nanny Como".

Poll
How do you feel about allowing school districts a second vote on their budget plan?
As long as it's a different plan it's ok.
I'm ok with a 2nd vote for the same or a different plan.
  One vote and done!
