Town Of Tonawanda Man Chrged In Road Rage Incident
Elma, NY (WBEN) A road rage incident in the Town of Elma Saturday afternoon has resulted in the arrest of a 45-year-old Town of Tonawanda man. Erie County Sheriffs say that they received a 9-1-1 call from a driver who was being threatened on Route 400. According to deputies, Derrick Fix threatened a woman by displaying and pointing a pistol at the woman's car and Fix also allegedly threw pennies at the vehicle causing damage to the car. Authorities also said that the woman was traveling with he two children (age 2 and 11 months) at the time of the incident.
Fix faces multiple charges including Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, he was arraigned in Elma Town Court and was remanded to the Erie County Holding Center in lieu of $5000.00 bail.
