Ruckdaschel Sentenced for DWI Crash

Buffalo, NY (AP) A Getzville man has been sentenced to 3 1/2 to 10 1/2 years in prison after admitting he was drunk, speeding and driving the wrong way on a Buffalo expressway when he crashed his pickup into an SUV, killing its two occupants.

Matthew Ruckdaschel was sentenced Monday in Erie County Court in Buffalo.

The 26-year-old pleaded guilty in April to aggravated vehicular homicide following the January 2011 crash on the Kensington Expressway that killed Orlando Anderson, a rental agent and father of three from Buffalo, and carpenter Thomas Johnson, a father of five from Cleveland, Ohio.

Ruckdaschel was seriously injured in the crash and remains in a wheelchair.

Ruckdaschel sentence
for killing two innocent people because he was driving drunk and was high on pot he only got 31/2 years? This was total unjust to the families of the deceased.and shows that the judicial branch needs more schooling.
