An analysis of how often people are profane on Twitter, shows that Buffalo has the rudest people in the United States, according to Vertalab, a social media and market research consultancy.
They write: Project "Twitter heatmap" was created to show a density map of tweets distributed in time."
We scanned for tweets containing phrases Good morning and F*ck you in 462 specific locations within United States. In order to get enough data for creating an animation we scanned Twitter at intervals approximately once per hour".
The Buffalo area produces the greatest prevalence of "F— you" posts. Downstate, New York City folk are the most likely to say "Good morning."
