Flash Mob Thwarted by Texted Tip

Cheektowaga, NY (WBEN) Cheektowaga Police say an anonymous tip on the new Tip411 text hotline helped them break up a potential flash mob.

Police say the tip alerted investigators to a possible flash mob being organized on Facebook for a "Storm the Millennium Party" at the Millennium Hotel on Walden Avenue.

The party was to take place on Friday with 70 invitations accepted, and 34 maybes. In all 910 guests were invited. Based on comments, police say the planner's intent was to cause damage and create chaos.

17 year old Ryan Paolucci of Lancaster has been charged with conspiracy, criminal nuisance and disorderly conduct. They say he's cooperating, now telling those invited not to go.

Police and hotel security will be beefed up on Friday. They warn anyone caught trespassing at the hotel will be arrested.

Morons
Imagine what could be accomplished in this world if all that moronic energy was converted to dedicated volunteer work!! But then, do these individuals even know that there is such an alternative. Doubtful!!
