Using figures provided by the 2010 Census, the American City Business Journals demographic blog On Numbers has determined that there are more people in the 50-64 year old range in Erie and Niagara Counties than there are people aged 35-49. In raw numbers, the older population of Erie and Niagara County outnumbers the youngsters by about 11,300 in a population of 919,000.
