The "graying" of Western New York continues. Using figures provided by the 2010 Census, the American City Business Journals demographic blog On Numbers has determined that there are more people in the 50-64 year old range in Erie and Niagara Counties than there are people aged 35-49. In raw numbers, the older population of Erie and Niagara County outnumbers the youngsters by about 11,300 in a population of 919,000.
