Pergament: Romney's Real Chance to Introduce Self is Coming
Buffalo, NY (WBEN) A TV blogger says Mitt Romney's acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention is not his real chance to introduce himself. He believes that's coming in a few weeks.
"Six percent of households in Western New York were watching the first two nights of the convention on broadcast networks," says Alan Pergament of stilltalkintv.com. "Conventions don't matter as much as they did 20 years ago because there was more than just speeches happening. Four years ago, it was an interesting and historick race."
Pergament says Romney's speech last night was not the true chance for him to introduce himself to America. "Convention speeches are preaching to the converted," he says. The real chance will come in the debates in October.
