Batavia, NY (WBEN) -- Police in Batavia have canceled a missing child alert.
In the midnight hour, notices was sent to local media that police were looking for 24-year-old Migie Walker, who took his 8-month-old daughter Aniyah from 13 Hutchins St., Batavia, Friday 10 a.m. and left on foot.
Police indicated they were concerned for the safety and welfare of the child. But about 90 minutes later, the alert was canceled. No additional detail about the child's health or whereabouts has been offered.
