Buffalo, NY (WBEN) -- Buffalo fire crews rushed to an address on the city's West Side in the 1 a.m. hour, for the report of a balcony collapse.
The initial 9-1-1 call indicated the balcony on a house near the 100 block of Bradley had collapsed, and as many as 6 people were injured.
One of the police officers on scene reported the injuries were confined to a couple of sprained ankles and a broken nose.
The city engineer has been called in, to see if the structure needs reinforcement.
Due to the proximity to Buffalo State College, it's possible that the incident involved students enjoying the long holiday weekend.
