Three Take Pleas in Outback Robbery

Hamburg, NY (WBEN) Three of four men who police say were involved in a robbery at a popular eatery have admitted their roles to a robbery.

Denivorie Jackson, who was employed at the Outback Steakhouse at the time of the robbery last September 26th, planned the robbery with Joseph Tucker III, Jason Brooks and Willie Martin. Jackson notified his three accomplices of the time that the rear door would be opened and they could make entry.  Police say two men entered the restaurant, one armed with a gun, and forced three employees and Jackson into an office.  The third defendant joined the other two inside the restaurant and bound the employees by the hands and feet with tape. Tucker III, Martin and Brooks then fled in one of the victim’s car which was parked in the lot.

Martin later admitted to his involvement in the robbery and has since pled guilty to Attempted Robbery in the Second Degree and is awaiting sentencing on September 19, 2012 and faces a maximum prison term of 7 years.

Jackson has pled guilty to six counts of Robbery in the Second Degree and is awaiting sentencing on September 19th, 2012 and faces a maximum prison term of 15 years.
