King says there is a lot of momentum on the issue of new teacher and principal evaluations. A few weeks ago, we put out ten model plans that other districts could look at. We've approved 70 plans and we've provided feed back to more than 100 districts," says King.
King says the key is for administrators and bargaining unit to keep the focus on student learning -- and the ways in which the evaluation system will support good professional development. King spoke at the Math, Science, and Technology Prep School at Seneca on East Delavan Avenue.
