46 year old Matthew Bennett has been charged following a grand jury investigation.
Prosecutors say Bennett issued prescriptions to undercover police without a proper examination and gave them the drugs in exchange for gas grills and toilet paper.
Bennett's office was shut down after a search warrant was executed last month
