So far, this year has been kind to local auto dealers.  August sales were up about 9%, while year-to-date sales were up about 5% compared to a year ago.  Ford dealers made the most headway, selling 1,969 vehicles in July and August.  Chevrolet dealers don't report their sales figures.

Business First reports that Zaepfel Development Company has agree to purchase the Kadimah School of Buffalo's Eggert Road school for $2,185,000.  Zaepfel would then lease the building back to Kadimah.  The proposal goes before the Amherst Industrial Development Agency on Friday.

UB has received $255,000 of funding from NASA.  The money will go toward the development and use of robots for space exploration.

Buffalo Medical Group has enrolled in a Cleveland Clinic program designed to improve and standardize care.  BMG is the first outside of Northeast Ohio to connect with the Community Physician Partnership's Quality Alliance.
