The slow decline in gas prices locally is continuing. $4.06 is the current average price for a gallon of unleaded in Western New York, according to the AAA. The national average is nineteen cents less.

Erie County's Industrial Development Agency has a number of projects to mull over in the next few weeks. Goldman Titanium is seeking an incentive package for a 12,000 square foot expansion of its Dorothy Street plant. Expansion is also on the mind of Cheektowaga's Wendt Corporation. Business First reports an incentive plan is being worked on for Cleveland-based Sustainable BioPower LLC. That company wants to build in West Seneca's North America Center business park.

An Edible Arrangements store has opened in the Brisbane Building.

The Hamburg Fire Department intends to purchase 46 new self-contained breathing apparatus with federal grant money it has received.

M&T Bank has increased small business lending by $196 million since last year.
