Teen Charged with Fatally Beating Fellow Inmate



Buffalo, NY (WBEN) A 19 year old already charged with arson and assault now faces a murder charge after deputies say he fatally beat a fellow inmate at the Erie County Holding Center.

19 year old Tyshaun Bell was first arrested and held at the Holding Center on charges of assaulting his mother and sister and setting fire to the family home. While at the Holding Center, Bell allegedly beat another inmate, who died of his injuries September 3rd at the Erie County Home and Infirmary.
Bell is now charged with second degree murder for that incident, and faces 25 years to life in convicted.
