"There was a party inside Moore Complex. A female student was attending the party, and she was sexually assaulted in one of the bedrooms around 1:30 Saturday morning," says Chief Pete Carey.
Carey says a person of interest has been interviewed in the rape. He'll have further talks with the DA's office Tuesday.
"As with any campus, incidents like this happen," says Carey. "Buffalo State is a safe campus and incidents like this happen infrequently."
