The Buffalo Planning Board has approved a Kissling Interests LLC plan to renovate the top five floors of the "White Building" at 298 Main Street into high-end apartments. Business First reports the project has an estimated cost of $6 million.
A report in the Cincinnati Enquirer notes the Warren County commissioners have approved a special taxing district for a proposed racino. Sale of the property is still pending to a joint venture between Delaware North Companies and Churchill Downs.
The Empire State Sports Foundation, a non-profit group, has signed an agreement to take over planning, promotion and organization of the summer Empire State Games. Those games are scheduled for July 24-28th in the Rochester area.
