Buffalo, NY (WBEN) An accident this morning involving a tractor-trailer has closed a portion of the Eastbound I-90 near the I-190 interchange snarling traffic for many hours. the crash happened at about 9:00 Sunday morning and resulted in that aforementioned truck catching fire which led to the closure of the Thruway. As of 12:00 p.m.. traffic flow has been restored in two lanes but the back-up remains, stretching back to Route 400.
