An investment group led by developer Roger Trettel had the winning bid for the Grand Island Holiday Inn Resort & Conference Center.  Spirited bidding for the 263-room hotel ended at $4.4 million.  Business First reports the deal is expected to close by early December.  Blackbird Asset Services conducted the auction.

Crunching numbers from 2010, The Tax Foundation has confirmed that New York has the highest tax rate burden in the nation at 12.8%.  The national average is 9.9%.

Ciminelli Real Estate Corp. has retained Waterbourne Construction Advisors to help them build a new 30,000 square foot office/medical facility at 199 Park Club Lane in Williamsville.
