Guilty Plea in Gun Possession Case



Buffalo, NY (WBEN) A Buffalo has pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in connection with a pair of foot chases involving police.

The first was in March when NFTA police chased Shawn Saunders after spotting him near the Main and Utica station.

Officers say he took out the loaded gun and threw it on the ground just before being caught .

He was released on bail, and while out on bail in June, Buffalo Police chased Saunders as they responded to a call of a man with a gun near Fillmore and French.

He faces up to 30 years on each count in prison when sentenced next month.
