Minor Chemical Spill at ECC South



Orchard Park, NY (WBEN) A professor and two students were checked out after a chemistry experiment went wrong at ECC South Monday morning. The chemical spill is said to be minor.

ECC spokesperson Michael Farrell says the adverse reaction was quickly contained. There was no fire, and no damage to the building. That building, Building Three, will remain closed for the remainder of the day and classes there are canceled.

Farrell notes the remainder of the campus will stay open and run as normal.
