Architect/developer Jake Schneider is purchasing buildings at 145 and 149 Swan Streets and an adjoining parking lot as part of a planned $13.5 million project.  Business First reports the complex would have upscale apartments and a bicycle-themed anchor, as well as a new restaurant.

New Era has donated $1.5 million to Roswell Park Cancer Institute's "Making Room to Save Lives" campaign which will result in the construction of a Clinical Sciences Center at Michigan and Carlton Streets.

National Fuel will conduct interviews for meter reader positions at the Hearthstone Manor in Depew this Monday from 9am-3pm.  A resume, proof of high school diploma, driver's license and list of prior employers are required.

Nominations for the 2013 Buffalo Niagara Business Ethics Awards are due December 1st.   Local companies with under 50 employees, between 50-150 employees and over 150 employees are eligible.  Those nominations can be made by following this link.
