Authorities say they've arrested two teenagers suspected of setting a Jack Russell terrier on fire last month in Buffalo.
D'iondre Brown, 17, and Adell Zeigler, 19, (pictured left) have been charged with aggravated animal cruelty, a felony. Under New York State law they could face $5,000 fines and up to two years in jail

The 16-month-old terrier suffered severe burns when it was found set on fire on Herman Street on Buffalo's east side on Oct. 29.
Named Phoenix by his rescuers, the dog is recovering at an animal hospital with burned ears, an ankle infection, and blistered eyelids. The dog is likely to need skin grafts and a possible leg amputation before being ready for adoption
