North Tonawanda police make arrest in homicide probe



Buffalo (WBEN/AP) -- Police in North Tonawanda have made an arrest in connection with the death of a woman who's neighbors called concerned for her safety.

Police tracked down, interviewed, and arrested Brian Lowry, and charged him with second degree murder.  He's accused of killing his girlfriend, 34-year-old Heather Rylowicz.  

Police say they were called to the woman's home earlier this week after a neighbor noticed that mail had piled up on her property and her dog had been left alone inside.
