Police say the girl's mother ran into the Hometown Market around 1:30 this afternoon, and ran out when she heard three gunshots.
The little girl was shot in the face.
Police says she was conscious at the time.
The girl was with her father in the family car at the time of the shooting.
She was taken to Niagara Falls Memorial medical Center before being rushed to Women and Children's Hospital.
