Forbes Ranks Sabres 22nd in NHL Team Values

Buffalo, NY (WBEN) While the NHL and the players association continue talks with a mediator, Forbes is ranking the teams by value. The Sabres are in the bottom third of the list.

The original six teams top the list, led by the Toronto Maple Leafs with a value of $1 billion. The New York Rangers are second at $750 million, and Montreal third at $575 million.

While a Powerball jackpot won't be enough to buy those teams, even if they were for sale, that c can't be said for teams like the St. Louis Blues, ranked at the bottom at $130 million.

The Sabres are ranked 22nd at $175 million. Terry Pegula bought the team in February 2011. Forbes noted, "Despite the Sabres missing the playoffs last season the team's average television rating on the MSG network clocked in at 6.6, the second-highest local cable number in the NHL."

How do you feel about allowing school districts a second vote on their budget plan?
As long as it's a different plan it's ok.
I'm ok with a 2nd vote for the same or a different plan.
  One vote and done!
