Scott Dion was quite emotional when speaking about the loss of his young daughter, saying the 7-month-old was "everything."
"She was... the best baby that anyone could ever have. She was nothing but smiles. She never cried. She was such a good baby," Dion said, shedding tears as he spoke.
Dion just shakes his head when he thinks about Danielle Kellogg, the accused drunk driver in the accident.
"For the girl that did this... I mean... she made the biggest mistake in her life... by getting behind that wheel," Dion said.
Dion's mother, Linda, also spoke at the news conference. She says the mother, Denise Hine, who is also Scott Dion's fiancee, is recovering at ECMC, remains sick, is having trouble eating, but is aware of what happened in the accident.
HOLIDAY DRINKING MESSAGE
The grandmother of Baylee Dion wants the public to use solid judgement during the upcoming holidays when it comes to drinking and finding a ride home. Linda Dion joined her son, Scott, in during Wednesday's news conference at ECMC.
"Please... I implore you to talk to your family, talk to your friends, anyone who picks up a stinkin' drink... terrible...it's deadly, it's poison," Linda Dion said.
Dion knows people are going to drink, but wants people to realize that even one or two drinks can lead to trouble when driving a car.
Danielle Kellogg -- the woman accused of driving drunk in Tuesday's accident -- is charged with DWI and vehicular manslaughter.
