East Aurora, NY (WBEN) The teacher arrested in Buffalo on drug charges is now on leave according to East Aurora's schools superintendent.

Ryan Ellis (in background of photo) was arrested Monday and charged with possessing crack cocaine.

He also pleaded guilty in 2001 to bringing ecstasy to a party that led to a fatal overdose, and in 2009 Ellis was arrested for DWI and pettit larceny.
