The AAA reports the difference in the price of a gallon of unleaded gas between the national price and the cost here in Western New York is forty-five cents.  The Buffalo-area cost is $3.79; the national price is $3.34.

Northwest Bancshares, the parent of Northwest Savings Bank, has announced it will pay a first quarter 2013 dividend in the final quarter of 2012.  Business First reports that follows a similar move by National Fuel Gas Company.  M&T Bank, First Niagara Financial Group and KeyCorp all plan on paying out their dividends on schedule.

Buffalo Scenic Prints recently opened a new kiosk in the Eastern Hills Mall near the Dipson Theatre entrance.  

Independent Health's MyIH mobile app has been named Gold Web Health Award Winner in the "Mobile Application: Tool and Resource" category.
