President and CEO of Buffalo Niagara Partnership Andrew Rudnick plans to step down from his post at the end of June next year.  Business First notes Rudnick has headed the organization since its inception in 1993.  He has not announced his future plans.

Developer Rocco Termini's $6 million plan for a former machine shop has been given approval by the Buffalo Planning Board.  The project to convert the Grote Street building into 23 market-rate apartments now goes before the Buffalo Common Council.

The Texas Rangers have extended their current deal with Delaware North's Sportservice to continue food, beverage and retail operations at The Ballpark in Arlington.  Terms of the deal were not made public.

Building Controls & Services of Tonawanda has opened a new data networking division.

Electrician services company Mister Sparky has been awarded the Angie's List Super Service Award for a third straight year.  The Buffalo location is on Wagner Avenue.
