The state is sending $52.8 million to Western New York in round two of Regional Economic Development Council funding.  That money will aid 58 area projects.  In the past two years, this region has gotten $152 million in development aid; which does not include Governor Cuomo's promise of $1 billion for Buffalo.

Eastman Kodak Company has an agreement to sell its digital imaging patents for $525 million to Intellectual Ventures and RPX Corporation.  Kodak is attempting to emerge from bankruptcy protection.

According to Business First, The Hamister Group has bought a suburban Memphis, Tennessee hotel.  No financial terms of the deal for the 121-room Holiday Inn were released.  
 
Delaware North Companies has announced another deal through its Sportservice affiliate.  Sportservice has agreed to terms on a multi-year food and beverage contract with the Seattle Seahawks and two adjoining groups; CenturyLink Field Event Center and the WaMu Theater.
