State approval has been granted for ECMC plans to add two new operating room suites.  Those suites will go in the building being used for outpatient dialysis for the new Center for Excellence in Transplantation and Kidney Care.  At the same time, work on the new 390-bed county nursing home on the ECMC campus is expected to be completed next month.

With UNYTS headed to the site of the former Sheehan Hospital, it will no longer need its former downtown Buffalo headquarters.  According to Business First, the 110 Broadway building is listed at $4.2 million.  There have already been a few inquiries about the site.

Mighty Taco's designs on a new restaurant on Kenmore Avenue near Englewood are on hold for a few weeks.  The Buffalo Planning Board vote will come January 15th.

Moog Incorporated has purchased Colorado manufacturer Broad Reach Engineering Company for a reported $48 million.
