Buffalo, NY (WBEN) The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for your ride home this evening. Blowing snow could lead to a slower than usual go during rush hour.

Here is the statement:

AN AREA OF MODERATE TO HEAVY LAKE ENHANCED SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO SLOWLY MOVE EAST AND SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE NIAGARA FRONTIER THIS EVENING. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO 2 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE IN SOME LOCATIONS...ALSO EXPECT REDUCED VISIBILITIES TO LESS THAN A MILE AT TIMES CREATING DIFFICULT DRIVING CONDITIONS. MOTORISTS SHOULD USE CAUTION AND ALLOW SOME EXTRA TIME TO REACH THEIR DESTINATION.
