Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Buffalo firefighters dealt with a three alarm fire at a vacant warehouse behind the Home Depot on Elmwood Avenue.
Crews had trouble dealing with large flames in the warehouse. The fire was declared under control just before 2:30 Friday afternoon. The fire broke out two hours earlier.
AIr One was requested to survey the fire scene. Fire Commissioner Garnell Whitfield says it was a complicated fire to fight.

Several firefighters had to leave the building while the fire was raging because of a partial roof collapse. In total, 50 to 70 firefighters were on scene. Crews are still there to check for hot spots.
