About a couple dozen fans were lined up inside First Niagara Center when the tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday morning.
One fan was targeting a specific game coming up next month.
"100 level for the Boston game on the 10th of February," he says.
He's hoping to see the Sabres matchup with the Bruins following last season's incident involving the hit by Boston's Milan Lucic on Sabres goalie Ryan Miller.
And another fan also wanted tickets for that game.
"Hopefully one ... for my son's birthday," she says.
At the start of the day, the Sabres said four games had already sold out, including Sunday's home opener with the Flyers. The other games include the Feb. 17th matchup with the Penguins, March 12th with the Rangers, and the March 30th contest with the Capitals.
