Teacher Admits to Sexting

46 year old Gerald Wild of Amherst admitted to sending numerous messages to a 16 year old student, containing inappropriate sexually oriented discussions.

The charge of endangering the welfare of a child was the highest charge Wild could have faced at trial.

Wild will surrender his teaching certificate as part of his plea.

He faces up to a year in jail when sentenced in March.
