Almost 50 years ago, WBEN Newsman John Zach was sent to Georgia by WKBW Radio to cover Martin Luther King and the Civil Rights movement. His memories paint a powerful picture.
WBEN's Steve Cichon spoke with John about his time as a disc jockey in Georgia in the early 60s, and the racism he saw and experienced, and then his return to Georgia several years later, at the behest of WKBW Radio News Director Irv Weinstein, to follow Martin Luther King.
