Washington, DC (WBEN) The leader of Erie County's Democrats says he liked what he heard from President Obama in his inaugural address.

"I enjoyed the tone of the speech, the hopefulness," says Jeremy Zellner. "He brought up the fact we should be working together with less bickering." Zellner was with a group from the committee in Washington for Monday's event.

Zellner says the speech laid the groundwork for the next four years and his efforts to work with both sides of the aisle. "Marriage equality and health care were among the items he touched on," says Zellner. But can Obama get that done? "I think the president has nothing to lose, so I think he's going to put everything into his agenda across and I think he's going to do it," predicts Zellner.
