One man, visiting from Virginia, says the only time it gets really bad is when he's on the lift.
"Because you've got to ride to the top, and the wind, when you get near the top of the hills, is pretty wicked and it really bites at the face and fingertips," he said.
But, he also says going down hill isn't too bad. He says he had to watch the wind, with the blowing and drifting on the slopes, to make sure he wasn't running into other skiers.
Another skier from Silver Springs agrees that skiers do feel the cold while on the lift.
"The lift gets a little chilly, but it's worth it. You just put up with it," she says.
And as long as f you're dressed properly, it really shouldn't matter.
"I obviously have, like, five layers on right now, so I'm actually kind of hot. And as long as you keep moving, it keeps you warm. That's a plus," said a skier from Springville
Another skier from Grand Island says you just need to be prepared for the colder weather.
"I don't find it very tough. I dress in layers. That means as a I warm up, I can remove layers of clothing, and as long as I keep moving, I'm okay," he says.
All the skiers pretty much said it's just a matter of being dressed properly for the conditions.
