Now, a settlement has been reached in a class action suit against the social media giant.
Attorney Paul Cambria says names and likenesses were used without people's consent.
The suit was filed in California. "They have a right of commercial exploitation there. Individuals have their own right against people using their name or likeness to make money," explains Cambria.
In total 20 million dollars has been posted for settlements, and those in the suit now have the chance to make a claim.
But he estimates the amount is about 10 dollars for each person, so the choice is up to each person.
