The session was a motion-and-discovery conference in judge's chambers in the case involving murder suspect Anthony Robert Taglianetti, says Chautauqua County District Attorney David Foley.
"What we will obtain from this is what's called a scheduling order, which will put into effect timelines for us when the motions need to be brought, discovery needs to be exchanged, things like that," Foley says.
Taglianetti is charged in the fatal shooting Keith Reed, Jr. back in September.
The suspect pleaded not guilty to the crime during his most recent court appearance in December.
Authorities believe the suspect was angry over an online affair Reed was having with his wife.
