It's not quite a "Groundhog Day" movie moment, as local gas prices are at an average of $3.79 for a gallon of unleaded.  That's nine cents higher than the cost a year ago.  The regional price is thirty-three cents higher than the national cost of $3.46.

Joe's Deli is poised to expand.  The Hertel Avenue restaurant will open a new location at 534 Elmwood Avenue near West Utica.  Terms of the deal were not made public, but Business First reports the property was listed for $429,000.

The Hamilton, Ontario location for the Anchor Bar restaurant opens today on Jackson Square.

A Crosby Convenience store in the Monroe Country town of Clarkson holds its grand re-opening a week from today.  Crosby stores are operated by Reid Stores, Inc. of Lockport.
 
Univera Healthcare has donated $54,000 to Bethel Head Start and Medaille College for development of a 3-year long pre-school physical activity program.
